What is motion and stillnes?

All motion is curved and all curvature is spiral. 

That does not mean that stillness is also curved. Motion springs from stillness and returns to stillness. The example of the fulcrum and the lever fully manifests this principle. 

Just as we live in the changing physical universe and the unchanging spiritual universe simultaneously, so also do we live in the universe of motion and the still universe of non-motion simultaneously. 

We will draw a simple picture which you may remember and understand more clearly than you would remember a finished picture of the same thing.

Here it is:

1. You have a desire to manifest an idea of yours.

2. You ask God to give you the power, and the substance to fulfill your desire.

3. God gives you six mirrors of His still Light, all put together in the shape of a perfect cube. Within the six are three more mirrors of His Lights all three set at right angles to each other.

4. God then says: “Here is the power, and the substance you have asked for to fulfill your desire and manifest your idea. My magnetic surveyors have measured it out for you in My undivided universe in the exact measure of your desire.

“I give you free will to do as you wish within the six mirrors of My Light which balance and control your actions from without, and three more balancing mirrors within the six which control your actions from within. For I say to you that these nine mirrors of My Light are My LAW, and they are also the means of enforcing My Law.

“These nine Light mirrors of zero curvature and zero motion are your limitations, and the measure of them is the measure of your desire. You may change their measure, and your limitations, by changing the intensity of your desire, but beyond these nine you cannot go in any direction 

 

“Whatever you do in My divided universe, whether good or bad, balanced or unbalanced, or helpful or hurtful within the boundaries set for you will come back to you in the measure set by you for your own universe of your own desire.

“For long aeons you have built your universe in your own image and desire. You have manifested that image of yourself for ages upon long ages, for you will not know Me in you.

“There will come a time when you shall begin to know the Light of Me in you. You will then manifest Me. You will then build your universe in My image. To know the Light of Me will be your sole desire. To seek and find My kingdom will be your sole purpose.

“What you do for yourself you do for all for all are ONE in Me You may reflect and extend your desire to all the universe to make a world of your desire with the desires of other men, but naught of motion, or change or unbalance, or curvature shall pass My equalizing boundaries set for you and all mankind without being voided where My zero of rest ends all moving things, and begins them again at that zero of rest which is alone in Me.” 

Rule 003 : All thinking is creating that which it is thinking

The main idea is only one single changeless knowing (this is called knowledge, which is different from our sense of knowledge, since it does not exist in our material world, therefore we need a new name). This knowing mind is timeless and still. 

That main idea can be called the Creator.

Creator creates with his thinking. 

Thinking produces two lights of thinking (dark and light)

Therefore to think is to create. Creation happens only with light.

Everything that we can sense is actually light.

Creator can only think idea. 

The light then translates this idea into two separate lights. 

This brings form to the idea

Rule 002 : The whole idea of all things is in the seed of all things.

Every thing that appears to be material to us is formed from the seed.

Seed is a microscopic point in the universe, which has inert gas surrounding it. 

The idea of an oak is in the seed of the oak. 

Similarly the idea of a man is in the seed of the man.

Our essence is eternal, our body is mortal but our body is cast from a seed, like a film and can therefore be reborn (we never actually die but only rest) after an interval of rest.

Our experiences are recorded into our soul seed and are carried forward to the next rebirth.

 

WHAT IS THE “WORK” OF THIS UNIVERSE?

The only “work” performed in this universe is the “work” of recording thought forms of Mind-imaginings into

a) positively charging bodies, which are expressing the vitalizing half of the life-death cycle of creating bodies—(concentrative thinking) and

b) into negatively discharging bodies, which are expressing the devitalizing other half of that cycle (decentrative thinking).

That is only work there is to do in all Creation, for God records His concentrative-decentrative thinking in the electric actions-reactions of living-dying bodies which appear and disappear in sequential cycles.

Creation of bodies is the only work that man does. Every body created by God or man appears from invisible stillness and disappears into that same stillness of its source, to reappear, periodically, in life-death, growth-decay cycles forever.

All bodies manifest eternal IDEA by eternally repeating their manifestations of IDEA in continuous cycles which have no beginnings or endings.

To exemplify: cold generates–generation contracts–contraction heats–heat radiates–radiation expands and expansion cools. Sound–for another example–is a body of interchanging motion which appears from a silent harp string and returns to it. The silent harp string is the fulcrum of energy from which the moving harp string extends as a vibrating lever of motion to manifest the IDEA of a musical tone in life-death cycles.

THE DIVIDED LIGHT

In the Light of The Creator’s Mind is DESIRE to dramatize His ONE IDEA by dividing its one unconditioned, unchanging unity of balance and rest into pairs of oppositely-conditioned units, which must forever interchange with each other to seek balance and rest. DESIRE then multiplies those pairs of units into an infinity of eternal repetitions to give formed bodies to The Creator’s imaginings. All formed bodies are created In His Image”. Through the expression of DESIRE in Light, this universal drama of CAUSE and EFFECT is created as the product of Mind-knowing divided by Mind-thinking.CAUSE is eternally at rest in the balanced unity of the undivided Light.

CAUSE IS ONE. EFFECT is eternally in motion to seek balance and rest in the centering equilibrium of the two opposed lights of this divided universe, which it finds only to lose.

EFFECT IS TWO The Light of CAUSE, divided into the two opposed lights of EFFECT, is the one sole occupation of Mind which we call THINKING. Mind thinking sets divided idea into two-way opposed motion to produce the effect of simulating idea by giving form to it. Formed bodies are but pressure-conditioned motion, however. They are not the IDEA which they simulate.

BASIC MISCONCEPTIONS OF SCIENCE 3/5 : Energy

Misconception of Energy 3. Failure to recognize that this universal body of moving matter has been created by some power outside of itself has led science to conclude that the energy which created matter is within itself. Even more erroneous is the conclusion that energy is a condition of matter, such as heat. This fallacy has led to the conclusion that Creation will disappear when heat energy “runs down”. The first and second laws of thermodynamics are built upon this obviously wrong conclusion. The universe will never “run down”. It is as eternal as God is eternal.

• This universe of matter-in-motion is a Mind-conceived, Mind-creating body. As such it is as much a product of Mind as a pair of shoes, a poem, a symphony, or a tunnel under a mountain is a product of the Mind which conceived it, and motivated the action which produced it as a formed body of matter.
• The poem is not the poet, however, nor is the symphony its composer. In a like sense this universe is not its own Creator. Whatever qualities or attributes there are in any product–whether it be an adding machine or a universe–have been extended to that product by their creator to manifest qualities, attributes and energies which are alone in the creator of that product.
• Nor is the IDEA which matter manifests within matter. IDEA is never created. Idea is a Mind quality. Idea never leaves the omniscient Light of Mind. Idea is but simulated by matter-in-motion.
• IDEA never leaves its invisible state to become visible matter. Bodies which manifest IDEA are made in the image of their creator’s imaginings.
• Every creation, whether of God or man, is an extension of its creator. It is projected from him by a force which is within its creator and not in the projected product.
• All of the knowledge, energy and method of creating any product are properties of Mind alone. There is no knowledge, energy, life, truth, intelligence, substance or thought in the motion which matter is.
